INFO – ISLAND WATERMAKER
After the launch of the ISLAND WATERMAKER, it is evident that AqSep has entered the market for large private homes and for industrialized use with this complete product. This is the largest desalination unit in the ECO WATERMAKER Series, and customers use this unit either alone or with multiple units in parallel. The preliminary record is seven units in parallel which produces up to 155,000 liters/41,000 gallons per day. It thus brings you a range of advantages when you choose to have more units in parallel. During freshwater production, the watermaker uses approximately 2.2 kWh/m³ (8.3 kWh/1,000 gallons) of product water.
This desalination unit ensures you great value for money as it is extremely efficient with a low energy consumption. It operates fully automatically and is controlled via a level switch in the product tank. The watermaker measures 1,192x563x730 mm (47x20x29 inches) and weighs around 120 kg (265 lbs). The practical design makes it fast and easy for you to access all components.
Water production costs are typically less than Euro 0.6/US$ 0.8 per m³ or around US$ 3–4 per 1,000 gallons.
